• Your own Personal Coach:   Your professional coach will help you modify your behavior, keep you accountable, on track, and feeling supported with frequent phone sessions, personalized rewards, nutritional counseling, goal-setting, progress charts, and unlimited emails. We won't wait for you to bounce off the walls before talking.
• Your own Board-Certified Physician:   The Buddies' physician will review your eating and activity habits, as well as your medical history. She'll give you personal nutrition information and help you and your coach formulate a plan to support your health & weight goals. Our Doc knows how specific diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, AIDS, and even depression are affecting your body, and specific eating and lifestyle changes that can help you.
• Healthy Lifestyle Changes:  We won’t race you to the finish line using rigid menus, starvation, food avoidance, or diet pills - all of which only create temporary weight loss without internal change. That’s why 95% of women and men who lose weight will gain it back in one year or less - they haven’t overcome their eating problems, but only learned to avoid food. You can’t avoid food forever! With us, you can achieve your healthy weight and a lifelong weight management mentality. Buddies Unlimited will help you identify habits and ways of thinking that have contributed to your weight and health problem. We’ll help you trade in destructive behaviors for healthy ones, self-depriving behaviors for self-fulfilling ones. Never again say the words, "I’m on a diet." You’ll find healthier ways of coping. You’ll increase your activity level.  Learn to trust yourself and enjoy food & good health again.
• We Cater To Your Schedule:   Coaching uses private phone conversations and e-mails…no driving to weekly public meetings at inconvenient times. Our goal is to take away your stress, not add to it.
